Chapter 9
Chapter 9 was when Nellie dresses up Edward in girl clothes and tells stories to him. I think nellie's daughter is going to be trouble for Edward.

Chapter 9
I learned that in chapter 9 Nellie puts girls clothes on Edward. At first Edward is mad then is is grateful because he thinks of the ocean. Also I think Nellie's daughter Lolly, is coming. I really like chapter 9.

What have you learned so far in the 2 chapters we've read?
Do you think the girl is treating Edward nicely or poorly? Why or why not?
Why do you think no one went after him when he left like the Tulanes. I mean they could of went after him when he fell in the water. Also Neleiy she would of realized he was gone and went searching and bull could off had his dog go get Edward, right?
Why do you think that everyone talks to Edward as if he is a person? People don't usually talk to other stuffed animals as if they are people.

Edward will find Abilene later in the book at a doll store.
Do you think that Edward will keep on getting lost over and over again? I do
Why is Lolly being mean to Edward? Is she jealous of Edward? Is she just being mean for no reason?
I don't agree with what lolly did because Edward is just an innocent rabbit that went through a miraculous journey
why do you think everyone in the book thinks of Edward as a person, It seems like they look into his eyes and take him along their adventure.
I don't know but think loly is mad because her sister/brother died and she thinks her sister/brother is getting replaced by a doll.
I wonder if Edward will be lost again. Right know he is with the hoboe do you think he will get lost?
Why does the fisherman's wife's daughter not like Edward?
